Aug 31, 2024 · Don B.Great experience for community and fitness. The teachers are fantastic, and the environment is deeply peaceful. Classes are around $30 each if you go one at a time. They run great deals often to get better bang for your buck. Every person I have spoken with here is extremely supportive. I would go out of my way to practice at this location.
Apr 10, 2024 · Joelle MessengerFirst ever yoga class! Made a bold choice to have my first yoga class be a hot yoga class! But great experience! Rob the instructor was very friendly! A lot of one on one with me as he knew it was my first time! He made sure I was comfortable, and helped me multiple times to correct my position! He also allowed me to go at my own pace! Overall I was really comfortable, and will return! I loved the mentally clarity at the end
Sep 11, 2022 · Nabil RahmanTook a class here for the first time and was honestly shocked by the experience. We have been practicing yoga for over 3 years and assumed Bikram would be similar to previous classes we took...it's not. For those that have never done Bikram, beware. There was absolutely no sense of flow in the class. Maybe, this is typical for Bikram, but the pace of the class was also far too fast and, other than the breathing exercises in the beginning and end, there was absolutely no talk of breath guiding or informing movement (as is typical in other forms of yoga). Perhaps these are typical components of Bikram, so we can give the benefit of the doubt, but there was also no guidance for modifications for those that might desire an easier flow or pose (which is also typical in our experience in other types of yoga). The prices on the website were inaccurate - we arrived expecting $17-$22 and were instead charged $30, being told that it's because of the new ownership. At least, please update your prices online so we'd know what to expect! We've never encountered such a steep price for a yoga class, and most studios typically offer a new student price for those who have never taken a class at their studio - they did not. They did not seem to have a cap on the number of people taking the class either, so it was incredibly packed, and it did not make for the most pleasant experience. On the plus side, the facilities were clean, the rented mats were solid, and the instructor/front desk person was pretty friendly. Bottom line: this was not a beginner class, it was way overpriced, and over packed. If you like an intense, somewhat harsh, westernized, and expensive Bikram class in a clean facility with a friendly instructor, this place might be for you.
Jan 03, 2020 · V FriI have absolutely LOVED my experience at Breathing Dragon Yoga in Dtown. My first class was with Mori and she could not have been more welcoming and informative. The class was phenomenal and a beautiful blend of challenge, focus, renewal, and of course, heat. I also love the hot hiit class offered. I am so grateful that I saw the sign while driving by one day and I am excited to continue my Breathing Dragon journey!
