I am writing this review because I have asked Eternal Now Yoga's owners to remove my online review 2x from its page/site on the WellnessLiving (Achieve) platform. Two weeks ago, one of the owners on my email requesting my review be removed replied, "Sure." It has not been removed despite my two requests, it is still up on their site on the WellnessLiving platform, so I am writing this one. Mind you, after every class, you receive an auto generated email to "write a review." One of the owners asked me to write a review after my second class and every class thereafter and also asked me for help with local marketing (which I agreed to and did as I'm a trained marketer and helpful person). I have called WellnessLiving's 888# 2x to assist with my request. No reply. In good faith, I cannot endorse this studio after a recent incident. I purchased a "1 Month Unlimited-New Member Promo" in person (because the app did not allow me to purchase it online) on 1/8/25. I have been practicing yoga since my first beginner class at Jivimukti in 1999 and love nothing more than to try out new studios, which are few and far between in my region. This one is very close to my home and the introductory price was right. The studio space that ENY is in has turned over 3x since I moved here. I attended another studio in this community for years. I stopped going during Covid and developed a home practice instead. So after signing up for 1-month of classes at an intro rate at Eternal Now, I attended a 930am class on 2/1/25. Two hours after the class, one of the two owners "texted" me that I was "yawning" a lot during the class and my "noises" were “distracting to the other students, especially in Shavasana." He wrote that I had two options: 1) to "leave before I begin Savasana" or 2) "enter class after the meditation practice and jump in on the yoga." I replied to his text that I did not find his message "okay," that relaxation and yawning to me, are a natural part of doing yoga, especially during "corpse pose"-savasana. His additional replies to my text were “disturbing" to say the least. He shared that "maybe our studio is not your style." and that I should find a new studio if "yawning and making sounds during savasana is too much for you." Who responds to someone like this? I never went back with one week+ remaining on my 1-month pass. I had been practicing there regularly for 3 weeks until this point. Did I say anything when my second class at the studio was canceled via text -- 14 minutes before the class began, while I was driving there in my car in 20-30-degree morning temps? Or when the next day's classes, after my canceled one, disappeared entirely from the Achieve app (yet the studio via its wellness app, requires 24-hour cancellation). My second class, canceled by the owner via text, is still marked in the Achieve app as taken/attended. I have many more examples to share of questionable business practices that gave me pause. I liked the way the owners combined mediation with yoga as that is my practice. I will close this out by simply sharing that I am a working parent and professional in my '50s who goes to yoga like many, to relax, unwind and do yoga. I meditate daily. Deep breathing is a part of both my yoga and med practices. I would never support a yoga studio that penalizes or admonishes a client/customer for making "natural" noises or "sounds," especially "yawning." It is their business and they can operate it any way they'd like. To me, this behavior does not embody the yogi spirit that I look for when considering a yoga studio or class. JR: responding to your reply below on 3/28/25: your name-calling+reaction say everything about how you run your business.I would never patronize a yoga studio or any business that would communicate to a customer, especially a new one, like this. I attended every class solo, never with "vampire" friends. Most of the classes I attended were 7 am weekdays and morning classes on weekends-I work. I was 1 of 2/3 students in most of them, arrived on time (you did not) and always friendly.

At Eternal Now Yoga, I have found a calm and serene atmosphere where a nice balance of mindfulness meditation and a thoughtful yoga practice is achieved. ETNY has been, for the past 1.5 years a place to help decompress and invigorate both physically and spiritually. Grateful.
