Avoid at all costs!!! I’ve experienced a teacher straight up not showing up with no replacement, broken showers for a weeks, and last week a broken speaker that makes erratic construction level noise (video attached, but it’s loud enough to hurt your ears). The worst part? Corepower will not give any sort of notice or refund for any of these situations. This is a gross violation of the customer contract - people pay money under the assumption that they will actually able to attend the classes. I just emailed asking if at the very least they can let me know which classes will be be held in the studio with broken speakers, and they said sorry they cannot (??) and they will not be canceling the classes. This is a very very low bar that they’re not passing, and really shows they do not care about customer experiences or potentially customer safety (I’m not exaggerating when I say people’s ears are not safe in that room - my ears were ringing when I stuck it out for a class, and I have no doubt they haven’t checked the decibel levels). As the cherry on top, they require a “30-day notice” for cancellation under any circumstance so I have to pay a month’s fee even if I don’t attend a single class. Obviously I will not be returning.

Dec 07, 2024 · Chae Won LeeI took a class here on Jan 6 and middle of the class fire alarm started to ring, instructor told us to leave our yoga mats in studio& leave. While we were outside, 2 girls asked about their yoga mats they said its fine, we can get our mats later. After 2 days i went back there (normally i live in Brooklyn) and the person at front desk tried to help me, showed me the lost&found area. (Which is a completely open space in changing area(!)) and i couldn't see my mat. It is lost. Lot of people coming to this place and pay for renting a mat, if they see available yoga mats open to everyone of course they will just use them for FREE. They took my number, I also emailed them, no one reached me back. Today i called help center and the woman on the phone was super defensive.. She asked me why i didn't give a call and ask for my mat the next day, like its my fault..She repeated "Corepower is not responsible for this" multiple times. If there is an emergency in the building and instructor telling us to leave our mats inside, i believe Corepower is responsible for this. I also wanted to go back to studio the same say and took my yoga mat because i live far, but they didnt let me and told me to just leave and come back later.. 0 customer service, im very disappointed. Photos are from the same day.
Jan 17, 2025 · Nehir YıldızThe experience here really depends on the instructor. One of the instructors were just striaght up rude/passive aggressive. Take Brooke's class. I know she's awesome.
Feb 22, 2025 · Yujin ChoThe studio really needs to be cleaned, there’s mold by the windows and the ceiling in the bathroom looks very dirty, showers were grimey . The mats stink and are sticky. for the price point of $250 /month or $40 a class CP really needs to have a professional cleaning company come thoroughly clean, not just teachers and students on a discounted membership. This is how people get sick.
Nov 17, 2024 · Olivia BSmells like sweat and the indifferent front desk staff told me there was a $5 charge for mats despite this not being mentioned on the website. I left and wasted the money I’d already paid for the class as I did not think this a reasonable fee. Will not be back.
