I’ve been attending classes at Yoga Mechanics (fka Yoga Montclair) for over eight years now. They have a wide variety of experienced instructors and offer beginner, mixed, gentle, strength, yoga nidra, etc. They also offer great workshops with instructors from around the country. It’s a beautiful space to practice and also has an infrared sauna. But the best part about YM is its warm, welcoming community. It’s a diverse group of cultures, ages and experience. Can’t recommend enough!

It is such a welcoming space. The Restorative Yoga class was so relaxing and truly allowed for a great release. We enjoyed it so much and will definitely be back for more. Thank you for creating such a wonderful container of soulful energy!

I used ClassPass and tried all the yoga studios in Montclair, Nutley, and Bloomfield. And I can confidently say this was best studio. As soon as you walk in the studio you are welcomed to the not only the class but their community and you feel lighter like you dropped all of the life baggage out the door. The classes themselves center around alignment and strength as well as rest and quieting the mind. I’m now in the best shape I’ve been in since Covid and the best but least expecting benefit of the classes was the transformation of my mental health and mindfulness. This is coming from someone that couldn’t sit in silence without stressing out about something for more than 2 minutes. I recommend Yoga Mechanics to anyone and everyone!

Connie’s presence is pure magic—she is deeply in tune with the feminine, a master space holder, and a radiant vessel of love and joy. Part witch, part goddess, part glowing light being, she creates a space for reflection and self-study in community with incredible women. An experience not to be missed.
